Music Fontaines DC, about to come to Brazil, launches single “It’s Amazing to Be Young”

Fontaines DC launched, this Friday, 21, the new single “It’s Amazing to Be Young”. Produced by James Fordwho worked with the band on the acclaim Romance (2024), the track is accompanied by a video clip directed by the filmmaker Luna Carmoon.

Dublin’s quintet, Ireland, is formed by GRIAN CATTEN (vocals), Carlos O’Connell (guitar), Conor Curley (guitar), Conor Deegan III (low) and Tone (battery). About the track, Conor Deegan III commented:

“‘IT’S AMAZING TO BE YOUNG’ It is a song that was written in the presence of a newborn child-the son of Carlos. At that time, it sounded more like a lullaby or a music box, but with the same lyrics: ‘It’s Amazing to Be Young’. ”

The musician also talked about how inspiring is the hope that a child brings. In their words, this feeling influences them to be better and to combat cynicism. Conor It concludes with the reflection that it is necessary to preserve youth and freedom.

Fontaines DC in Brazil

After a busy 2024, with the launch of Romance And two Grammys nominations, the Irish comes to Brazil for two shows in March. The first of these happens in the audio, on the 26th, and the second in Lollapalooza, on the 28th, at the Interlagos Race, both in São Paulo.
