I think any artist’s dream is to make his legacy transcend all borders. It’s amazing for me to see the evolution of this song, which I wrote to Laura Branigan, becoming a number 1 hit in the 1980s – and again in the 1990s – with my own recording winning my first Grammy. Now, seeing Barbarian bring her to a new generation of people around the world-it’s simply amazing.
