Singer performs at the Austin festival on March 10, bringing love to the international public
Melly takes the first step in your international career with a show on South by Southwest (SXSW)one of the largest festivals of innovation, technology and culture in the world. The Bahian singer, indicated to Latin Grammy by the album Most Amar(2024), performs on March 10 in SP Housespace dedicated to Brazilian music within the event, organized by the Secretariat of Culture of the State of São Paulo.
THE Sxsw It happens annually in Austin, Texas, bringing together influential names of music, cinema and technology. Created in 1987, the festival has consolidated itself as one of the main events of the global creative industry, being a showcase for emerging artists and the stage of discussions about cultural and market trends.

Melly He began singing at age 6 and built his musical identity from the influence of American R&B, combined with his Afro-Baian authenticity. In 2021, it released the EP Blue and was one of the artists selected by the project Poss – Protect your dreamsfrom the aur, which highlights black talents from the independent scene. In the same year, he performed in Afropunk Bahiadividing stage with Luedji Luna and Mano Brown.
In 2023, it was awarded as Revelation artist node Multishow Award and joined festivals such as Rock The Mountain, Mecca – Inhotim, Mita and Wow. The following year, he released his first studio album, Most Amara work with 12 tracks that includes collaborations with Liniker and Russian Passapuss. The album yielded nominations to Latin Grammy (Best contemporary pop album in Portuguese language), Multishow Award (MPB of the Year, with “Cocoa”) and WME Awards (Alternative music, with “10 minutes”, and composer of the yearcategory that won alongside other female artists).
