Music Maiden will launch documentary about his 50 years of career

Banda promises to include final interview by former singer Paul Di’Anno, as well as exclusive testimonials from the influenced members, fans and artists

THE Iron Maiden It has many plans to celebrate its 50 years. Besides a special tour (RUN FOR YOU LIVES) and a visual book (Iron Maiden: Infinite Dreams – Official Visual History), the band will win a documentary later this year.

Production is a partnership with the Universal Pictures Content Group. There is no title or release date yet. It is known that it will reach public in the spring of the southern hemisphere, most likely in theaters instead of streaming platforms.

In a note, those involved describe to obar as “An exciting journey for Maiden’s 50th anniversary of the band’s perspective and some of his most devoted followers”. There is the promise of exclusive interviews with “Essential members of the group”without making it clear who will participate. Names of music and cinema influenced by the sextet – once quintet – as JAVIER BARDEM, Lars Ulrich (Metallic) and Gene Simmons (Kiss), also granted testimonials.

Another great attraction is an interview with Paul di’annovocalist of Maiden’s first two albums. The testimony is defined as the “last” of the singer, who died in October 2024, at age 66, after a series of health problems.

The statement states:

“Presenting rare file filming, including spectacular animation of our iconic mascot, Eddie, the film explores how Iron Maiden helped shape a cultural movement, challenging conventional views of rock and the broader impact of heavy metal on society and culture.”

THE Iron Maiden will take your next 50 -year -old tour, RUN FOR YOU LIVESto Europe. There are scheduled shows on the old continent between May and August.

In 2026, the itinerary is expected to be expanded to other continents – including Brazil, the country that the singer Bruce Dickinson Visit with his solo career on September 7, for presentation at the Paulistano Festival The Town.

With repertoire focused on the nine initial albums – the 1980 debut to Fear of the Dark (1992) -, the coming excursion marks the first occasion in decades when Maiden will perform without Nicko McBrain. The drummer, a member since 1982, has moved away from the road activities and will be replaced by Simon Dawson (British Lion, The Outfield etc).
