A partnership between Madonna, Barbra Streisand and Bette Midler almost left the paper. In an episode of the podcast Barbra Archivesthe representative of A&R of Streisand, Jay Landersrevealed that the three stars were considered to record “Anything You Can Do I Can do Better”from the musical Annie Get Your Gunas part of the album Back to Broadway (1993).
