Event takes place in Rio de Janeiro between September 27 and 28 and brings Nelson Motta as curator and DJ; Ticket sales starts on April 3
The festival Sweet wonders prepares for its third edition, which happens again in the Jockey Club Brazilianin Rio de Janeiro, between September 27 and 28.
This Monday, 31, the organization of the event announced the list of attractions. There are more than 40 artists of different rhythms, generations and regions of Brazil. Among the highlights are names like Liniker, Ney Matogrosso, Marisa Monte, Zeca Pagodinho and Alione.
The curatorship of Sweet wonders has its roots in the mix of knowledge and new discoveries, joining the whole experience of Nelson Mottareference for all the themes linked to music, with a team of young curators, bringing the freshness and great bets for the future. In this spirit of celebration, the programming comes up with a collective creation – curators and artists – allowing total rapport on stage.

For this edition, besides curator, Nelson Motta It will also be DJ and will cheer up the audience on both days with unpublished set and prepared exclusively for the festival.
Partner of Bonus Track, company responsible for the event, Luiz Guilherme Niemeyer stated that the Sweet wonders It was designed to celebrate the richness of Brazil’s culture. “More than a festival, we understand as a movement of appreciation and recognition of the power of Brazilian music,” he said. “For this, we also think of a production and scenario that bring this joy and sense of freedom, with the exuberant nature of the city, where everyone can meet.”
Node Jockey Club Brazilianthe event will occupy the Pião do Prado and the Tribune. The two stages will be installed at strategic opposite points, allowing the audience to easily move each show. With capacity to receive up to 15 thousand people per day, will also have accessibility project, contemplating adapted areas, ramps, affordable bathrooms, interpretation in pounds and PCD areas with monitors.
Following Bonus Track’s commitment to hold events with the lowest possible impact, the Sweet wonders It incorporates the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrating prosperity, gender equality, healthy eating, decent work, innovation, reduced inequalities, combating climate change, accessibility and positive social impact. Confirmed actions include waste separation and shipping to recycling cooperatives, reusing materials used in assembly, stimulating the use of returned glasses and compensation of carbon emissions. In addition, through the sale of the solidarity ticket, with differentiated value and available to all audiences, the event supports the Life Livre Institute and the Children’s Institute.
The festival also encourages the use of public transport – the nearest subway station is Leblon, with about 15 minutes of walking. There are several bus lines to the Gávea neighborhood and the bike path is close to the place.
The general sale of tickets will start on April 3, from 12h. Bradesco customers have access to an exclusive pre-sale for tickets, with 15% off pay with Bradesco, Next, Bradescard or Digio (individual, all flags) credit cards on April 1st and 2nd.
