THE Subway confirmed that it will operate with a special regime to satisfy the public foreseen in Free show by Lady Gagascheduled for Saturday 3 May, at 21h, in Copacabana beach. The stations located in the neighborhood – Siqueira Campos, Cardinal Archoverde and Cantagalo – will work uninterrupted from 5:00 from Saturday to 11 pm on Sunday, 4.
The other stations of the subway system will operate in the usual hours, from 5 in the morning to midnight. After this time, they remain open only for the landing of the public who returns from the event, until 7 on Sunday.
During the trip to the show, the recommendation is that the public preferably uses the Siqueira Campos/Copacabana station. The Carden Archoverde/Copacabana station will work exclusively for landing from 16 hours to 22 hours and after this period, only for boarding with previously acquired cards or payment of approximation (NFC).
Upon returning, the guide is that the passengers opt for the Siqueira Campos station, which has a greater boarding capacity, greater access, box office and reinforced flow control structure. The other two stations in the neighborhood will also be open 24 hours and will be strengthened in the safety and operation staff.
During the dawn, Line 2 will operate between Pavuna and General Osorio/Ipanema. The lines 1 and 4 normally follow the Uruguay/Tijuca and the Oceanic Garden/Tijuca bar. The integration between lines 1 and 2 can be performed on the stretch between the general stations of Osório and Central Do Brasil. Already on Sunday, from 7 in the morning, line 2 will have its journey extended to Botafogo.
