Music Turunen and Marko Hietala tour Brazil in May; Show in SP will have orchestra

Tarja Turunen and Marko Hietala confirmed their return to Brazil for a tour in May. The shows will take place in Curitiba (18/05), Belo Horizonte (05/20), Porto Alegre (22/05) and São Paulo (24/05), the latter with an orchestra.

In the capital of Paraná, tickets have been sold out for two months. In other cities, according to the producer Top Link Music, there are few units for sale.

Giro, which has already passed through Brazil in 2024, celebrates the trajectories of Tarja and Marko. The repertoire that mixes solo songs and rereading of the times of NightwishFinnish Band of Symphonic Metal of which both were part.

The public will be able to watch three distinct sets: a Turunen performance (in Sao Paulo with orchestra), another of Hietala, and a final performance with both on stage, in which they play new songs and surprises from the time they were part of the band.

As a warm -up for the tour, Tarja recently released the Live Clip of “Diva”recorded during the show Circus Life in Bucarest, Romania. The show was held on a centralized stage (“In the Round”) and features setlist with songs from his solo career.
