After surgery to treat pancreatic cancer, titans guitarist leaves hospital and follows recovery with support from family and friends
The guitarist of Titans, Tony Bellottoleft the hospital on Wednesday (30), after undergoing surgery as part of treatment against pancreatic cancer. Admitted to the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in São Paulo, the musician has been recovering since the diagnosis, received in March this year.
The good news was shared by your son, João Mader Bellottoon social networks: “Friends, I come here to inform you that my father was discharged from the hospital. Thank you very much for your support and affection,” he wrote.
During the hospitalization period, Bellotto had the support of longtime colleagues, as MELLO WHITE and Sérgio Brittowho were by your side at the hospital.
The diagnosis came after routine exams, taking Tony to temporarily move away from commitments to the band. In a previous statement, he said:
During this period, I will temporarily move away from the stage, but the Titans follow with the planned schedule, accompanied by the musician Alexandre de Orio. As soon as I recover, I will return to shows and my professional activities. ”
Despite the delicate moment, the artist showed optimism: “I am quiet and confident, facing everything with courage and dignity. Inspired by our dear MELLO WHITEwho went through difficult treatments and is now playing, singing and having fun at the shows. ”
