Drake says it was difficult to convince Nelly Furtado to sing; The singer has been on hiatus since 2017
Drake called Nelly Furtado to sing “I’m Like a Bird” and “Promiscuous” on stage during the All Canadian North Stars event in Toronto, Canada.
“Thank God I am a nice, humble and talkative person. I like to deal with people the right way, because it’s the only way to get that next person out of the house to do what they’re going to do now,” the rapper told the crowd at the show.
“I don’t care how loud you sang tonight. Now I need you to sing as loud as you can, because this here cost a lot.”
The singer has been on hiatus since 2017 and entered the stage being applauded by the audience. Your song “Promiscuous” topped the music charts in 2006. Drake joined the artist on the last song and sang part of the chorus along with her and her fans.
