Literary work by a national author was launched in the late 1970s and received as a gift by the singer by another artist
Olivia Rodrigo revealed to be reading The Hour of the Star (1977), written by the renowned Brazilian author Clarice Lispector. The singer talked about her new literary choice in an interview with Vogue American (via G1) with video published this Thursday, 15.
The artist said she won the multi-instrumentalist’s gift novel St. Vincent – who, according to the singer, is responsible for giving you all your favorite books. Olivia was recently in Brazil with the Guts world tour – And his friend played as an opening attraction in Curitiba.
She said:
“This is the book I’m reading now. I won my friend Annie St. Vincent. We were performing shows in Brazil, and she’s so sweet. She even wrote a dedication. It was she who gave me all my favorite books. JOAN DIDION. ”

The artist also made praise for the work and commented on a custom that has adopted during reading:

Written by Clarice Lispector and released in 1977, The Hour of the Star It is a novel that tells the story of Macabéa. The Alagoas Dythographer moves to Rio de Janeiro and now has his story narrated by the fictional character Rodrigo SM.
