See who took the trophies home at the 25th edition of Bet Awards
You Bet Awards completed 25 years celebrating black excellence, and this year the ceremony had stars as Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Dochii, Drake and others competing for multiple awards.
Lamar was the most appropriate artist of the night, with 10 nominations, including Album of the year put CNG, VideoClip of the Year put “Not Like Us”and indications to Viewer’s Choice Award put “Not Like Us”, “Luther” (with SZA) and “Like That” (with Future and Metro Boomin), in addition to Best male hip hop artist.
Drake, Dochii, Future and Glorilla They tied as the most appointed seconds, with six nominations each. SZA and The Weeknd received four each, while Arya Starr, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Maverick City Music, Playboi Carti, Teddy Swims and Tyler, The Creator They won three.
Names like Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg and Kirk Franklin were honored with the Ultimate Icon Award.
In addition to the musical categories, the Bet Awards It also awards the prominence in cinema, TV and sports. The ceremony was presented by the comedian Kevin Hart For the second time (he has already led the event in 2011).
