Anitta has released the video for “Gata”, the first of three videos that will be released in the coming weeks. Directed by Giovanni Bianco, with whom she worked on, among others, the iconic “Bang” and “Girl From Rio”, the clip was financed by Cimed, the company that is launching Puzzy, the singer’s intimate perfume in Brazil. .
In May, Anitta let off steam in a live where she faced difficulties releasing new clips for the “Versions Of Me” album, as the label just wanted to bet on going viral on TikTok.
“Now we will only be able to make the first clip of the album. Since I didn’t get the approval, I’ll do it with the sponsors’ money,” he said at the time.
After the “Tropa” project for the “Freefire” game, “Gata” faces the new sponsored phase, in which, in addition to promoting the songs, Anitta accumulates the role of poster girl – during the clip, she also sprinkles the perfume of Cimed in the private parts.
The result is more relaxed than the singer’s big productions, although it includes several scenarios, extras and choreographies. It’s just that nothing gets as much attention as the scenes where she appears alone making faces and mouths for the camera. Additionally, singer Chencho Corleone, who shared microphones with the singer in the studio, chose not to participate in the commercial and her absence has an impact on the video, especially since the opening lines are from her.
The song, sung in Spanish, stands out for its strong and engaging rhythm. The song opens with a swinging reggaeton rhythm and ends with a heavy funk.
The next Anitta sponsored clips will be “Lobby”, with Missy Elliot, and “El Que Espera”, with Maluma, which she will release later.
It is worth mentioning that Anitta took off in the midst of a project that involved the release of a new clip every month. The clips are part of her artistic identity. Too bad she found a way around financial constraints, which she ironically didn’t seem to have when she wasn’t an international phenomenon.
