American artist has made numerous statements and sympathetic manifestations to ideology; Brazilian states: “He is not Nazi”
As published, the rapper YEpreviously known as Kanye Westconfirmed a unique show in Brazil. Possibly part of a festival, the presentation will take place on November 29, in a place yet to be announced in the city of São Paulo.
The situation has the potential to generate controversy in the national territory. This is because the American has been involved in several controversies – to say the least – in recent years.
YE has won headlines, for example, claiming to have identification with Nazism, praising Adolf Hitler, publishing a photo of a swastika entangled in a star of David, defending artist Sean Combs of accusations of sexual abuse, and giving anti -Semitic speeches, among others. More recently, he even released a song titled “Heil Hitler”, later banned from digital platforms.

Businessman Guilherme Cavalcante and agency responsible Jean Fabrício Ramos (Fabulouz Fabz), listed by Folha de S. Paulo as producers of the show, say they are not afraid that such controversies scare the audience. Fabz said in an interview with the vehicle that the rapper “is not Nazi” and defined such controversies as “strategies”.
“The guy is not Nazi. He’s on a way, if you look at Twitter, it has already started to retract. Artist we know… He is very strategic in various situations of causing controversy, due to the contracts he has.”
On the one hand, the artist agency states that it is not from the purposes of event producers to express opinions about YE positions. He says:
“Who wants to go, go. Musically, the guy is a genius. He has his history. Neither God has pleased everyone. We are here to bring an attraction F#da. We have a press office to deal with this situation, he is already starting to retract and, with the conversation I had, good things come. He is turning someone else.
From another perspective, however, Fabz says there is no connivance with Nazism. The Brazilian has guaranteed that the organization of the event will not tolerate manifestations of the type throughout its realization.
“Let’s take the measurements. This is unacceptable. We don’t support it. Let’s make it clear that it’s not our case. We are against it all.”
Kanye West in Brazil
There is still no information on ticket purchase. On his social networks, the American only made a pre-sale link available: yenobrasil.com.br.
Along with a form, the page offers an Instagram profile called Urban Movement (@urbanmovementbr). It is believed that Ye will perform at a festival in the state capital-and this must be the name of the event.

In an interview with Folha de S. Paulo, businessman Guilherme Cavalcante and agency responsible for Jean Fabrício Ramos (Fabulouz Fabz) said the festival should gather between 80 and 100,000 people. Two days are foreseen, with the American cast in one of them.
YE has not performed in Brazil since 2013. At the time, it was part of the SWU festival.
Before that, the artist came to the country in 2008. At the time, he was part of the lineup of another event: Tim Festival, with editions in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
