The Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England received the party with a series of special guests. Everything was transmitted online.
But not everything on this historic day for music was about, in fact, Heavy Metal. The event was charity, with all the profit from ticket sales for three charity institutions:
- Cure Parkinson’sEnglish entity that finances research aiming to cure, interrupt or reduce the evolution of Parkinson;
- Birmingham Children’s HospitalMedical Center in Birmingham specializing in taking care of children and adolescents;
- AHREN CHILDREN’S HOSPICEinstitution that provides palliative care and support to children with serious health problems and their families throughout the West Midlands region.
It is estimated that the event raised around $ 200 million in all. It has not yet been revealed which part of this amount will be addressed to the entities, as it will be necessary to discount expenses and taxes.

The choices did not occur by chance. Osbourne revealed by 2020 being diagnosed with Parkinson, so Cure Parkinson’s. The other two entities work in the city and in the region where Sabbath was created.
