After conquering the Brazilian audience with a lysergic and memorable show in 2023, the The Brian Jonstown Massacre confirms his return to Sao Paulo on November 28, 2025. The presentation will take place at Espaço Usine, the new name of the former Clash Club, in Barra Funda, and is part of the South American tour tour, which will also pass by Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Santiago.

Led by the restless Anton Newcombemulti-instrumentalist, producer, sound engineer and real gravitational center of the band, Tbjm It is considered one of the most influential formations of worldwide neo-psicodelism. With over three decades of trajectory, the group mixes folk, psychedelic rock, garage, blues and even electronic elements, maintaining a sound and ideological aesthetic always on the margin of mainstream.

The show in São Paulo is another achievement of the producer maraty, designed by the journalist André Barcinski and the producer Leandro Carbonato. The pair were also responsible for the Brazilian debut of the band, which in 2023 had all tickets sold out in a 2h30 show.

THE Brian Jonstown Massacre was eternalized in the cultivated documentary Dig!which celebrates 20 years in 2024 and recently won a remastered version. The film portrays, among other things, the refusal of Anton Newcombe In submitting to the rules of the music industry, always betting on the total artistic independence, a trait that has remained firm over the more than 20 albums released since Methodrone (1995).

After a period of creative blockade, Newcombe He rediscovered the inspiration in 2022 and recorded two dozen songs in 70 consecutive days, giving rise to albums Fire Doesn’t Grow on Trees and The Future Is Your Past. The artist’s creative energy also translates on stage, where the group maintains a reputation for immersive and unpredictable presentations.

Besides their striking songs, as “Straight Up and Down” (series theme Boardwalk Empirefrom the HBO), “Not if you were the Last Dandy on Earth” (from the movie BROKEN FLOWERS) and “Going to Hell” (from the trail of American Pie), the repertoire of Tbjm It is filled with underground pearls that Brazilian fans look forward to listening live.
