Florence + The Machine It seems to be preparing your return with a new dark and cinematic atmosphere teaser. The video, released this Sunday (10) on social networks, shows the vocalist Florence Welch frantically digging a hole in a deserted and suction cup.

Then the camera reveals the artist looking into the grave before releasing three shrill and disturbing shouts. Wearing a long red dress and combining shoes, Welch It appears in a scene that refers to horror movies.

Without subtitles or additional details, the publication quickly burned speculation about a new album. Rumors gained strength after last month, Welch Share a series of cryptic photos: a whiteboard with the phrase “You can have it all” and words such as “clarity”, “power”, “purpose” and “beauty”, as well as a possible reference to Adele. Another image showed the singer in the studio with Mark Bowenguitarist of Idlesand a record with the word “October”, possibly the release date of the new work.

This year, Florence + The Machine celebrated the 10 years of How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful and, in 2024, marked the 15th anniversary of Lungs with an orchestral concert at the Royal Albert Hall, part of the BBC Promsreleased on the album live Symphony of lungs.

In the European summer, Welch also took the stage of GLASTONBURY 2025 with the The MacCabes to sing “Love You Better” and the classic “Dog Days Are Over”.
