Radiohead’s new live album offers a unique experience of historical shows, including an exclusive video of ‘There, There’ in Buenos Aires
THE Radiohead has just digitally available the album Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009. The release features a compilation of live performances of the band during the tour of their acclaimed sixth studio album, HAIL TO THE THIEFoffering fans a new perspective on the album and its live reception over the years. The album is now available on digital platforms and will be release in limited vinyl on October 31st, available in red and cyan, the red version will be sold at independent stores and the cyan will be available exclusively at the official Waste store of Waste do Radiohead.
This new material features recordings of shows held in London, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires and Dublin between 2003 and 2009. As part of the release, the band also released an exclusive video of the presentation of “There, There, Recorded in Buenos Aires and you can check below:
In a reflection on the creative process, Thom Yorke He explained how the idea of launching these recordings came up. “When working in the arrangements for HAMLET HAIL TO THE THIEFI asked to listen to some old recordings of live songs. I was surprised by the energy we captured on stage. I did not recognize us immediately, and this helped find a new direction for the project, “said the singer.
