In July of this year, the group Yeah Yeah Yeahsreleased the track ‘Spitting Off The Edge Of The World’, in partnership with the singer Genius perfume. Now, the trio from New York has revealed a small snippet of ‘Burning’, a track that will be released later this week.
according to NME, the band used their social networks to reveal 13 seconds of the new track, in a kind of unprecedented preview. The short video features a very distorted guitar riff, accompanied by the melody of a piano.
In the post, the band also confirmed that the track ‘Burning’ will be released next Wednesday, August 10th. Together, the new song and ‘Spitting Off The Edge Of The World’ (check it out below) are part of the trio’s next album, Cool It Downthe first released in nine years.
On a recent tour of the UK and Europe, performing, for example, at the Primavera Soundin Barcelona, the Yeah Yeah Yeahsmust throw the disc Cool It Downwhich will feature eight tracks, in September 30thby the record company Secretly Canadian.
