Music celebrates 29 years of the departure of Raul Seixas with special programming

Museum offers promotional tickets, book launch and series display to keep the memory of the Brazilian rock icon alive

29 years ago, Brazil lost one of its most revolutionary voices. On August 21, 1989, Raul Santos Seixas He said goodbye to the world at age 44, leaving a legacy that transcends generations and continues to echo in the hearts of Brazilians. To mark this symbolic date, the Museum of Image and Sound (Mis) has prepared a special program that promises to thrill fans and arouse new admirers.

Distributed in more than 15 rooms with exclusive scenography, the exhibition reveals treasures rarely seen by the public: clothes that dressed the body of the rebel, instruments that gave life to their timeless compositions, manuscript letters and personal effects that tell the intimate history of man behind the myth. Curator built an intelligent course, based on 13 of the artist’s most acclaimed songs, turning each environment into an experience that arouses every senses.
