Thom Yorke Band will do 20 shows in 5 cities, including four night residence at O2 Arena de London – South America is still outside

After seven years away from the stage, the Radiohead Finally broke the silence. The band officially announced their return with a European tour to November and December 2025, marking the end of one of the longest of Oxford’s career.

There will be 20 shows in five cities: Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin. The tour follows a peculiar pattern, with four performances in each city.

“Last year we met to rehearse, just for the fun. After a seven -year break, it was great to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has lodged deeply within the five of us,” said the drummer Philip Selway.

The last presentation of the Radiohead It took place on August 1, 2018, at Wells Fargo Center, in Philadelphia, ending the tour of Moon Shaped Pool – Album released in 2016 that has not even gained an official successor. Seven years of parallel projects, with Thom Yorke focused on The Smile next to Jonny Greenwoodwhile the other members explored solo work.

The ticket system will be exclusive through the band’s official website, with mandatory registration between Friday (5) and Sunday (7) September. The sale takes place on September 12, using unique codes, method to avoid money changers and maintain control over who goes to the shows.

For Brazilian fans, the absence of South America in the script is frustrating but not unexpected. The group has always been selective with their tours, prioritizing European and American markets. The last time they were in Brazil was in 2018, also in the tour of Moon Shaped Pool.

The expectation is now double: in addition to live shows, there is a hope that this band’s rapprochement will result in unprecedented material. As I said Selway: “For now, it will be just these shows, but who knows where all this will take.”

After so long, any movement of the Radiohead Turn world event. And with only 20 presentations announced, these may be the only chances of seeing the band gathered for a long time.
