Para Festival brings together 70 national and international attractions in December, including Japanese band The 5.6.7.8’s, by Kill Bill
THE Psychic Festival 2025 announced its full lineup with more than 70 attractions for the edition The return of the goldenwhich takes place from December 12 to 14 in Belém. The great honoree of this edition is Dona Onetewho at the age of 86 performs for the first time as a headliner of a festival of this size.
Carimbó Diva Chamegado debuts the Audiovisual Show Four accountscreated especially for the event, which proposes a trip through the four elements of nature through his work. The show revisits songs little played in his career and features classics in new arrangements.
Big national and international names
Among the highlights are Martinho da Vila and Jorge Aragonwho present the show together Sings sings my people. The lineup also includes LUEDJI LUNAthe rapper Flourish, Urias, Jaloo, Zombie nation with From mud to chaos – 30 years, Edson Gomes, Di Melo and Viviane Batitude.
The festival brings the Colombian singer Armando Hernándezknown as classics as “La Zenaida” and “Reigning Cumbias”reinforcing the Pan-Amazonian connection of the event. Among the most anticipated international attractions is the Japanese female trio The 5.6.7.8’sfamous for the movie’s soundtrack Kill Billfrom Tarantino Quentin.
The international program also includes the singer Maleïka and the percussionist BOIS PERCUSfrom Martinica. “Pará has a very strong connection with Martinica’s music, which directly influenced our Para Lambada,” explains JEFT DIASFestival director.
Tecnobrega and local culture
The festival dedicates specific spaces to Tecnobrega Pará, with the apparatuses Carabao the maximum, Ruby the Sound Nave and Crocodile. Electronic programming includes DJ Baby Plus Size – Known for the remix of “Crazy of Cashew Rock”from Liniker -, Ramemes, Batekoo and Clemuum.
The event maintains its commitment to Amazonian culture through artists such as Ian Wapichanaof the original Wapichana people, the Paracauari folkloric group and presentations of Enchanted processiontheatrical show that celebrates the Brazilian indigenous culture.
The program occupies the streets of the Old City and the Mangueirão Stadium. Created in 2012, the Psychic He was consolidated as one of the main independent festivals in Brazil, with the 2024 edition beating audiences with over 100,000 people.
