What is the story about?
A lonely Frankenstein (Christian Bale, Batman: The Dark Knight) travel to Chicago from the 1930s to contact the pioneer scientist, Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening, Nyad), and ask you to create a mate for him. The two relive a young woman murdered, and the bride (Jessie Buckley, Hamnet: Life before Hamlet) Born. What follows is beyond what any of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A wild and radical cultural movement! And outlaw lovers in a wild and flammable novel!
