Geddy Lee also warns fans about tickets: “Scalpers are having fun out there, jacking up prices”

Earlier this month, the Rush shook the rock world by announcing a tour for 2026 — and then doubled the number of shows due to high demand. Now, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson added 17 more dates to the journey.

The new presentations make the Fifty Something Tour extends until autumn and the beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere, passing through cities ranging from Detroit to Tampa, Florida. This will be the band’s first tour since the death of their drummer. Neil Peart; the German virtuoso Anika Nilles will be the new member alongside Lee and Lifeson.

“We are overwhelmed by the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we would be returning to the road,” Lee said in a video touting the expanded tour. “I can’t describe how surprised and moved we are. And also, the way you welcomed Anika Nilles in the family Rush it was very moving. I know she is very grateful for this. We’re even more excited to get on stage, play with her, and explore the plethora of music we have in store.”

Lee then turned to Lifeson in the video: “But… the downside for you, my friend, is that we have to get back to the gym! We need to be strong, because we are adding 17 more cities to the tour.”

Right away, Lee warned fans about purchasing tickets: “Resellers are having fun out there, raising prices. Be aware of this. Buy straight from the source — on the official website of the Rush or in Ticketmaster. Thank you very much again. We can’t wait to get on stage and make all the mistakes we’ve been rehearsing.”

Fan-only pre-sale begins on October 27th, and general sale begins on October 31st.
