Everything indicates that the loss of founding member Sam Rivers will not affect the schedule in Latin America, as the show in Mexico at the end of November is maintained
THE Limp Bizkit has a show scheduled in Brazil on December 20th. Yungblud, 311, Ecca Vandal, Riff Raff and Slay Squad are scheduled to share the stage with the nu metal legends at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo.
However, the death of bassist and founding member Sam Rivers raised doubts among fans. Through the networks, many expressed fear about a possible cancellation not only of the performance in the capital of São Paulo, but of the entire upcoming tour of Latin America, with 7 performances. Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina also host the group.
It seems that the commitments will be kept. A statement published by the producer Music Vibe (translation via Igor Miranda website) declares that the show in Mexico City, responsible for opening the tour on November 29, is duly preserved.
30e, the company responsible for carrying out the project on national territory, has not yet commented. However, if not even the first date of the tour will be changed, it seems unlikely that the rest of the agenda will be modified.

“We deeply regret the passing of Sam Rivers, founding bassist of Limp Bizkit, whose talent and legacy marked generations and continue to resonate in every note of his music. In such a significant moment for the band and their fans, Limp Bizkit decided to continue with their show on November 29th in Mexico Cityas part of his ‘Gringo Papi Tour 2025’. That night, every riff and scream from the audience will sound in honor of the great legacy that Sam offered to nu metal, because his energy will never cease to exist.”

Sam Rivers was 48 years old and participated in Limp Bizkit since its founding. He was only absent between 2015 and 2018, while he was treating liver problems and alcoholism.
The cause of his death has not been confirmed. The text published by Limp Bizkit, on Saturday, 18, states:
“A fond memory of our brother, Sam Rivers. Today we lost our brother. Our bandmate. Our beating heart. Sam Rivers wasn’t just our bass player — he was pure magic. The pulse behind every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.”
From the first note we played together, Sam brought a light and rhythm that could never be replaced. His talent was natural, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous. We shared so many moments—wild, peaceful, beautiful—and each one of them meant more because Sam was there.
