Director Ron Howard’s new film tells the story of eight people who went to an isolated island and less than half of them survived

What is it about?

The film revisits a little-known episode in European history from the 1920s/30s. A community of idealistic Germans sets out for the island of Floreana Island, in the Galápagos Islands, abandoning the bourgeois values ​​they believed erode humanity to build an alternative life in the wild. Eden addresses survival, mystery and complex human relationships in the face of adversity, as the dream of utopia gives way to distrust, violence and moral collapse.
