Singer Preta Gil is the cover of the digital edition of the magazine Rowing. In addition to putting the face of the iconic fashion publication, the artist gave an interview to the vehicle, where she reflected on her maturation, her 20-year career and the racial literacy process.
The cover essay was made by a predominantly female and black team and, without modification, one of the artist’s requests was to be portrayed in a natural way with its folds, streaks and markings.
“Preta Gil has aged, which is very natural. I have not faced her, on the contrary I have the same passion for life. To face it is to stop in time and in this sense I am very Raul Seixas: a metamorphosis walker”says the singer.
