“Midnights” will be released on October 21; Anitta is among the other winners of the 2022 VMAs
Taylor Swift was the main winner of the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards by winning Video of the Year. The ceremony took place on Sunday evening, 28th, in New Jersey, USA. The singer-songwriter took home the trophy for her work in the 10-minute music video for All too good (Taylor’s version).
As he took the stage, however, Taylor made an announcement that left all of his fans surprised, as he revealed when his next album is out.
“My new album will be out on October 21st,” he told a rowdy crowd. “And I’ll tell you more at midnight.”
Around midnight local time (1 on Monday in Brazil), a post appeared on the singer’s Instagram account announcing the title and more details about the new album.

The album has been described as “a collection of songs written in the dead of night, a journey through terror and sweet dreams”.

Taylor Swift said the decision to reveal the release of her new album was due to the generosity of her fans who voted for her to win the Video of the Year award.
