How the Abba singer became a famous judge in Bolsonarian fake news

In a video circulating on the internet, the singer argues as if she were an international authority

Agnetha Fältskog, singer of abba, went viral on social media in a somewhat unusual way. The singer fell victim to the fake news of supporters of President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), and the image of her began to circulate as if she were the famous Swedish judge Anna Ase.

In the video circulating on the internet, the vocalist argues as if she were an international authority disputing the result of the presidential elections of 2022, but everything is just an edition.

“It is very doubtful that such a popular president would be the first not to be re-elected,” reads the false caption. The original recording also appeared on YouTube eight years ago, with English subtitles. At the time, he gave a TV interview to talk about music.

This is not the first fake news involving artists as political experts. Singer Lady Gaga was appointed expert in international law, known as Stefani Germanotta. In the montage, he also analyzed an alleged election fraud in Brazil.

Besides her, the porn actress Mia Khalifa he was cited as “director of the anti-fraud department of the Hague Court”, however, the press was nothing more than a montage. The account that would have published the original link does not exist, nor does the site in question.

However, they confused Mia with a “scientist” at Covid CPI. In fact, she even came out and made fun of the situation. “Okay, at this point I should be wondering if I’m late for work, I think I really have the job.”
