Singer from Ceará launches his most daring project, which brings new genres to his sound
Davi Bandeira released this Wednesday, November 16, the launch of their second album INTENSE (2022), now available on all audio platforms. The artist’s second studio album marks a new phase in his career, with references from the Northeast, reggae, pop and contemporary Brazilian music.
In a statement released to the press, the singer gave details about the process of creating the album and the references, since INTENSE it was produced, mostly, in the interior of Ceará, where it was created.
I feel like it’s a strong album, but also a vulnerable one. People might not have imagined that it would be possible to release a pop music album for those who grew up listening to Aviões do Forró. But I’ve always been enchanted by pop music, the challenge was to understand what it’s like to be this artist who has such different references.

The design of the new Flag started in 2019, shortly after the launch of the retelling of “Thus Walks Humanity”of Lulu Santos🇧🇷 At the time in question, the singer worked as a shopkeeper in São Paulo, and had to return to Ceará with the COVID-19 pandemic, which made him resume the project.
It was interesting because I left to pursue my career and came back to the place where I started dreaming of producing and working on the project. In that midst of uncertainty, whether the world was going to end or not, I started working on a perspective: if I could make the last record of my life, what would it be like?
Co-produced by Enzo DiCarlo and the own Davi Bandeirathe songs were written by Cearense and Dan Moraisalso artistic partner. INTENSE has the participation of Band Nazirewhich works on the resistance of reggae and Leandro Buennowho participated in The Voice Brasil.
It is a very real work that I worked tirelessly and from the beginning to get it out into the world, I followed my heart and I am very proud of this project.”
