Roberto Carlos made a post on Instagram mourning the death of singer and songwriter Erasmo Carlos, who died this Tuesday (22), aged 81. The two were great friends.
On his social profile, the king has published a video with different moments that the two have lived together over the years. “My pain is very great. I can’t even say everything I think about my dear friend, my older brother,” the singer said in the tribute.
“My idol for everything, for his loyalty, his intelligence, his kindness, for everything I know about him.
A wonderful human being my brother. It’s a privilege for me to have such a friend, such a brother all these years. It’s hard to find words to talk about this guy: my friend Erasmo Carlos”, continued the artist in the post.
“He will always live in my heart. May our God of goodness protect and bless him always. Amen,” concluded the singer.
Erasmo’s family, team and band released a statement on Tuesday evening advising that the artist’s wake will be reserved for family and close friends. The vigil will take place on the afternoon of this Wednesday 23 in Rio de Janeiro. The time and place were not disclosed.
