Identified as Shannon Ruththe alleged victim is a fan and was 17 years old on the date of the incident, in 2001. She is currently 29 years old and filed the lawsuit in Nevada, in the United States.

“He said the plaintiff would go to jail if she told anyone what happened between them. He said it was Nick Carterand that it had the power to do so,” attorneys for Ruth in the process.

“Due to the various threats, the author did not report the crimes of Carter for many years,” they justified about the period between what happened and the process. After the abuse, shannon still would have contracted HPVwhich is a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI).

Three other unidentified victims are also in the process for similar abuses that allegedly took place between 2003 and 2006.

Michael Holtzlawyer of Carterdenied accusations in a note sent to billboard: “Unfortunately, for several years, Miss Ruth has been manipulated to make false claims about nick – allegations that have changed over time.”
