According to Phil Selway, the British band could return to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the album ‘Hail To The Thief’
The drummer of radio headPhil Selway, said the band was the frontman Thom Yorke they will “reunite” in early 2023. In an interview with the website Spin, he talked about the British alternative rock group’s plans to commemorate their older albums, starting with the album Hello thiefwho turns 20.
“We were very focused on (triple album) Kid A’/’Amnesic‘, and we came to the natural conclusion of going back to the reissue and creating the ideal scenario around that. We will meet in early 2023 and I’m sure we will start looking for other ideas for the future. Hello thief: It’s been a long time since that record, hasn’t it?” he said.
Radiohead have released their latest studio album, A moon shaped poolin 2016 and the last tour in 2018. In 2021, the group released Kid A Mnesiatriple album responsible for celebrating albums boy a (2000) and amnesic (2001), featuring a third disc of rarities and B-sides called Kid Amnesiae.
Despite Selway’s optimistic statement, the guitarist Ed O’Brien wasn’t so clear about Radiohead’s future, in an interview with The Line-Up Podcast: “It might happen, but the other thing is…it might not happen,” he said.
