Lisa Marie Presley he had already been declared brain dead when he suffered a second cardiac arrest in the hospital. The fatal crash occurred after the family signed papers asking medical personnel not to resuscitate her as his condition was irreversible.

The king of rock and roll’s only daughter was rushed to the hospital Thursday morning after her maid found her unconscious at her home in Calabasas, California.

Paramedics who arrived at her home managed to revive her after her ex-husband Danny Keough administered first aid. She was taken away shortly after her pulse returned, but she was brain dead when she arrived at the hospital, TMZ reported Friday.

The family went to see her, but Lisa Marie was in an induced coma, with a temporary pacemaker and breathing on a machine. There, they discovered her condition and signed a “do not resuscitate” order. She suffered a second cardiac arrest and died next to her mother Priscila.
