Announced by Ivete Sangalo at a special event, the album with five unreleased tracks reached streaming this Friday, 20; check out the release

Last Wednesday, the 18th, Ivete Sangalo announced the release of Come closertheir newest EP, at a special event, which was attended by Rolling Stone Brazil. On the occasion, in addition to presenting the five unpublished tracks from the album in a pocket show, the singer also revealed details about the new production – which arrived on audio platforms this Friday, the 20th.

About to complete 30 years of career, Ivete commented that, in his opinion, summer meetings and love affairs are quite characteristic of this time of year, especially Carnival. And, speaking of the traditional Brazilian popular festival, Sangalo even revealed the theme of their presentations at Carnival.

“My topic will be Back to the future, which alludes to the film from an aesthetic point of view, the costumes and the electric trio. But the bias of this idea is that we go back to our reality and we have never been so thirsty for the future”, he revealed. Ivete. “We enter a year of greater hope, of greater possibilities. We are aiming for the future, we are back for the future.”

Finally, when talking about his three decades in the music business, Ivete Sangalo he also revealed that he has plans to celebrate his career anniversary. “I want to record this and we are working on the idea. So, until the 30th anniversary celebration happens, I want to take this show on tour in Brazil, I want to do what Come closer everywhere,” said the singer. Check out:
