technology in pop
Another demonstration of how technology advances in music was recently given by the k-pop girl band Aespa. The project, with real singers, will make its first virtual reality (VR) show at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival, which takes place in March this year in Austin, Texas, in the United States.
AmazeVR, a company that produces and distributes virtual reality concerts, is responsible for the technological apparatus. Called the Aespa VR Concert at Kwangya, the performance will last 20 minutes and will be set in Kwangya, an infinite and lawless virtual space.
Our “@aespa_official VR Concert at Kwangya” has been chosen as an official selection for the 2023 @sxsw Film & TV Festival’s XR Experience Competition. We can’t wait for you to meet aespa at Kwangya inside the metaverse this March!#aespa#VRConcerts#VRhttps://t.co/jkciwLYyjC
