In 2011, it was hard to find a young Internet user who didn’t know the chorus of “friday”, music by rebecca black that went viral on the web. Years later, this Thursday, the 9th, the singer returned to the world of music with Let Her Burnhis debut album.
Born in California, United States, rebecca always showed an interest in music and started singing professionally at the age of 10. Three years later, after closing an agreement with ARK Music Factory to record a pre-written song, the young woman finally released her first single, “friday”, which spoke about the arrival of the long-awaited Friday.
The singer’s dream, however, soon became a joke on social networks and, for months, rebecca was the voice behind a huge internet meme. Even so, “friday” accumulated 55 million hits in just over a month and, in the following years, black left the meme status in the past, releasing several singles and even the EP RE / BLin 2017.

Now, the singer returns with her debut album, Let Her Burn, which is now available on all audio platforms. The new album arrives years after the single “Anyway“, released in 2019, and exactly one day before “friday” turn 12 in the youtube.
