Netflix has added five new names to the cast of "The Sticks," its upcoming youth hockey drama led by Michelle Monaghan. The streamer confirmed the additions recently, according to the trade outlet Deadline.
Three of the new arrivals will join the show's regular cast for its first season. Scott Bakula, known for "NCIS: New Orleans," will play coach Brody Hansen. Logan Marshall-Green, currently filming the second season of Taylor Sheridan's "Marshals: A Yellowstone Story," will play coach Sully. Alex MacIsaac, of "When Calls the Heart," will play Emma Boone.
Two more actors will join the recurring cast. Bryan Greenberg, known for "Suits LA" and "Emily in Paris," will play Cliff Barnes, while Patrick Gallagher, of "Big Sky" and "Night at the Museum," will play director Montgomery.

With these additions, the main cast of "The Sticks" now includes Michelle Monaghan as coach Harper Sullivan, Emilie Bierre as Riley Sullivan, Shai Chase as Henry Sullivan, Josh Macqueen as Rhett Nelson, and Costa D'Angelo as Owen Boone.
The main cast also includes Carter Shimp as Austin Ryder, Ethan Holder as Cooper Cunningham, and Isaac Arellanes as Manny Rodriguez.
Beyond Greenberg and Gallagher, the recurring cast includes Chelsea Field as Alice Hansen, Alison Araya as Joan Garcia, Aman Smardon as Kai Becker, Krista Bridges as Frankie Ryder, and Ben Cotton as Mr. Marchbanks. It also includes Chloe Avakian as Izzy Miller, Caleb Baumann as Elu, River Codack as Tyler Walker, Angus Albinati as Jack McGrath, and Callum Orchison as Derek Marchbanks.
What 'The Sticks' is about
The series follows a small Minnesota hockey town called South Dorothy after a tragedy shakes the community. A grieving wife takes charge of the team her husband built, leading an improvised family of injured young athletes through a season of loss, love and rivalry that will decide whether the team still has something to believe in, and who will lead it into its next chapter.
