Nicole Kidman put her sculpted arms on display during an advanced screening of Practical Magic 2 over the weekend in Los Angeles. The 59-year-old Australian actress and Oscar winner arrived at the event alongside co-stars Sandra Bullock, Joey King and Maisie Williams. Wearing a sleeveless black maxi dress, she danced into the cinema and addressed the crowd with a cocktail in hand.

Fans fawned over her physique online after a video of her entrance appeared on social media. One user commented, "TRICEPS!!!!!" while another replied, "Right?! I was thinking the same thing!!!!" A third fan speculated on her workout regime, writing, "I read somewhere she does fifty plus pushups each morning no matter what… looks like it might be true".

Another fan added, "Goals to look like her at that age," while someone else wrote, "Nic has been working out!" Kidman previously shared her fitness tips in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, explaining, "Variety is the best way [to become fit] I've found." She added that waking up to run five miles every morning leads to boredom, so she tries to mix it up with sports, running, yoga and walks with her husband and kids.

The star frequently posts photos of her runs, hikes and horse-riding sessions on Instagram. Known for her svelte physique, the Eyes Wide Shut actress has long stated that she does not follow a strict diet, opting instead for an 80/20 lifestyle.

Diet and the 80/20 Lifestyle
Speaking to Women's Health in 2013, The Northman star admitted, "It's walking a path that's ultimately 80 per cent health, 20 per cent… sometimes it falls to 70 per cent". The 80/20 diet involves packing 80 per cent of meals with whole foods while allowing reasonable indulgence in the remaining 20 per cent.

Kidman continued, "But that's why I think you have things like natural health remedies - you find out what works for you. And I do a lot and I have a lot of energy." In a 2014 interview with the Los Angeles Times, she repeated, "I'm actually not that strict with my diet. I pretty much eat anything, but all in moderation."

In 2017, The Undoing star told Food & Wine that her favourite food is a "fresh seafood platter with Sydney rock oysters, tiger prawns, mudcrab and lobster". During a 2015 73 Questions video with Vogue, she listed "homemade warm bread with Reggiano" as another favourite, and The Others actress has also noted her love for an Aussie sausage sizzle.

Micro Livestock and Nutrition
In 2018, Kidman revealed a penchant for eating live bugs after once saying she could eat almost anything. Appearing on Vanity Fair's Secret Talent Theatre, the star consumed four types of micro livestock, including mealworms and crickets.
She began the clip by stating, "I'm here to reveal my hidden talent eating micro livestock," before picking up the live insects with chopsticks and describing the mouthful as "extraordinary", "moist" and "chewy". Kidman added, "Just a little side note, two billion people in the world eat bugs, and I'm one of them." When travelling, she takes a daily multivitamin to help cover any nutrients her diet might lack.
