Nicole Scherzinger is offering fans a £856 meet-and-greet package on the Pussycat Dolls tour after the group cancelled all of its North American dates because of poor ticket sales.
In May, the girl group scrapped 33 planned shows across the United States and Canada after low sales left arenas 80 per cent empty. Organisers had cut ticket prices to as little as $30, around £22, but still pulled the plug just a month before the tour was due to open in California.
The band has since slashed prices for its upcoming UK shows too, cutting tickets to as little as £37.
Scherzinger, who is touring with fellow Pussycat Dolls members Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, is now offering fans the chance to meet her on every remaining date of the tour. The package, described online as the "ultimate experience," includes time with Scherzinger, a photo opportunity, access to a pre-show soundcheck performance and Q&A, and a chance to take part in her pre-show ritual.
What the meet-and-greet includes
It is not clear exactly what Scherzinger's pre-show ritual involves, but she has previously described her preparation routine as lighting a candle and listening to calm music. Speaking in 2024 while appearing in Sunset Boulevard on Broadway, she said: "Before the show, I'm usually in my dressing room doing vocal and physical warm-ups and focusing on breath. I try and protect that sense of calm before a show."
Fans looking for a cheaper option can now buy tickets through a limited-time Ticketmaster offer allowing four tickets to be bought for £150, working out at £37.50 per person. The Daily Mail has contacted Pussycat Dolls representatives for comment.
UK tour dates
After touring Europe, the trio are set to begin the UK leg of the tour at Birmingham's Utilita Arena on September 29, followed by Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on September 30. The tour then continues to Leeds, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester throughout October, before wrapping up at London's O2 on October 13.
Kimberly Wyatt hints at final reunion
The ticket news comes as Wyatt suggested this tour could be the group's last. In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, she said: "I think going on stage knowing it could be your last is something really special because you don't miss any of those moments. I think we're all in that same headspace about this and we are able to kind of tackle it as grown women."
She continued: "It doesn't feel like it's so much about proving ourselves. It's really about just embracing the fact that we did something really awesome together and that nostalgia factor is still there. It's another opportunity to show up for each other and come together as the three and be really mindful of you just never know when your last performance might be."
Asked what it was like reuniting with her former bandmates after so long, Wyatt said: "Wow. I mean, a lot of life has passed. Like it's just unbelievable to have lived so much life since. I've created a new life for myself with my husband and my three kids in Surrey to have a dance academy, doing radio and DJing. I've sort of lived this whole new life. This tour is about being really open about who we are and who we've become after all of these years, but also just a real acceptance for giving us the space to rework what this means to us."
Excluded founding members
The Pussycat Dolls' comeback has been marred in controversy over the exclusion of three of the group's founding members, Carmit Bachar, 52, Jessica Sutta, 44, and Melody Thornton, 41.
Bachar and Sutta have said they were blindsided by the reunion and were never asked to take part, with Sutta going as far as to call it a "cash grab." Asked by a fan if she was going to meet up with the rest of the Pussycat Dolls, Sutta replied: "No, I'm not. They have been planning it for a year and blatantly didn't ask Carmit and I. We are finding it all out the same time you are. I was not contacted regarding the group's decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public."
