Spanish media corporation Atresmedia has released the official trailer for A la deriva, a new television drama series starring actress Paula Echevarría.
The series will premiere in Spain on the subscription streaming platform atresplayer on September 20, 2026. Subscribers will receive one new 50-minute episode every Sunday as part of a weekly release schedule spanning ten episodes.
Filming for the ten-part drama took place across locations in Madrid and the Canary Islands. The production focuses on a community impacted by loss and emotional recovery.

Faced with administrative hardship and deep grief, the local women join together to support one another. Lucía, the wife of Héctor Parrado, builds a close bond with Maca, Rosa, Berta, and Paloma, making their shared friendship the primary force enabling them to move forward.

The narrative jumps forward two years, when a miraculous return upends the village of Bastuel. Five of the lost fishermen, including Héctor Parrado, unexpectedly reappear alive in the town.
Prior to their sudden return, Lucía had slowly rebuilt her daily life under the belief that her husband had died during the shipwreck. Over the intervening two years, she had opened her heart again and found a new partner.
The unexpected return of the lost crew forces Lucía into a challenging emotional conflict. Paula Echevarría leads the central romantic triangle of the drama alongside actors Daniel Grao and Michel Noher.
