A producer paid one million rubles for the first slice of Russian singer Klava Koka's wedding cake, after her husband Dima Maslennikov set the price as a joke.
Blogger Azamat Kakharov posted video from the celebration on his Instagram page. The footage showed Maslennikov alongside businesswoman Oksana Samoylova and TikTok personality Yulia Gavrilina, who both considered bidding for the dessert before backing out once the price was named.
According to Kakharov, Maslennikov did not actually want to sell the first slice, so he jokingly announced that bidding would start at one million rubles.
Producer steps in
Russian producer Yaroslav Andreyev, founder of the TikTok house Dream Team House and known by the nickname Elf-Torgovets, agreed to buy the slice at that price.
Details of Klava Koka and Dima Maslennikov's wedding were revealed earlier in August, according to the report.
