Amazon Prime Video will release Rey Blanco, the third and final season of the Spanish thriller series Reina Roja, on October 20, 2027.
According to specialized publication Cinemanía, the upcoming installment adapts the third novel in the best-selling book trilogy by Spanish author Juan Gómez-Jurado.

Release schedule and production timeline
The announcement comes four days after the streaming service premiered the show's second season, titled Loba negra, on October 2, 2026.
The third season will mark the shortest gap between releases in the franchise's history. Subscribers waited two years between the premiere of the initial season, Reina Roja, in 2024 and the launch of the second installment.
Filming for Rey Blanco concluded in Madrid in May 2026, and the production has remained in post-production since wrapping principal photography.
Creative team and returning cast
Amazon confirmed that director Koldo Serra, known for his work on Money Heist, directed the final season. Screenwriters Helena Medina, who wrote 23-F, el día más difícil del rey, and Salvador Perpiñá, creator of Los Serrano, drafted the scripts for the concluding chapter.
Lead actors Vicky Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian return to star as investigators Antonia Scott and Jon Gutiérrez. The cast also features returning actors Àlex Brendemühl as Mentor and Eduardo Noriega as Jaume Soler.
