Studio White Fox has released a trailer for the second part of season four of the anime Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World. The continuation of the series is set to launch on August 12. The trailer is available on the YouTube channel 「Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活」チャンネル【公式】, while video rights belong to Netflix.
Plot overview and manga adaptation
The project follows Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary guy who suddenly enters another world while walking home from a store. Unknown creatures attack him there, but a silver-haired maiden carrying a fluffy cat saves him immediately. The heroes team up to find stolen valuables taken from the girl, but they are killed right away, leading Subaru to discover his ability to return to the past after death.
The fourth season of Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World continues adapting the manga starting from volume 21. Following a heavy battle for Priestella, Subaru travels to the mysterious Pleiades watchtower, with upcoming episodes continuing the story in an arc titled Return.
