Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura have announced a venue change for their upcoming concert in Sao Paulo on November 7.
The performance will now take place at the Suhai Musical Hall, having previously been scheduled for the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu.
Formed in Belo Horizonte in 1984, Sepultura are one of Brazil's most successful international music acts, known for blending death and thrash metal with indigenous musical styles.
Fans who have already bought tickets will not need to exchange them, as they remain valid for the new venue according to the organisers' relocation rules.
Those who are unable to attend the new address, or who do not wish to be re-seated, are entitled to a full refund, including booking fees.
Refund procedures for online purchases
For tickets purchased online, fans can request a full cancellation of their order between 2:00 p.m. on September 10 and 2:00 p.m. on September 28.
The request must be made through the logged-in area of the ticketing website. Customers should navigate to "My Orders," select the relevant purchase, and click "Request Refund" at the bottom of the page. Fans with multiple orders must perform this procedure for each one individually.
No cancellation requests will be accepted after the September 28 deadline.
Box office cancellations
Tickets bought at a physical box office must be cancelled by the original purchaser at the exact location where they were bought. This request must also be made between September 10 and September 28, and an official photo ID is required.
Customers holding physical tickets must return all tickets linked to the order. Those with digital tickets bought at the box office must present them in the Quentro application so the order can be validated and cancelled.
In both instances, the customer will receive a completed form as proof that the refund request has been processed.
Cancellations can only be made for an entire order. Partial refunds for a subset of tickets are not permitted.
Processing times
For purchases made by credit card, the refund will appear within two billing cycles following the cancellation confirmation, depending on the card issuer's closing date. Customers are advised to check the statement of the card used for the purchase.
Purchases made via debit card or the PIX payment system will be refunded within 10 business days. The funds will be returned to the original account, or to a nominated account in the case of cash payments.
