Robbie Williams is heading to Latin America with his Britpop tour after closing out a run of European shows, according to the singer's team. The 50-year-old performer, known for hits including "Angels," is set to play some of the region's biggest venues following his European dates.
The tour will stop in major capitals including Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Bogota and Sao Paulo. Most tickets for the shows have already sold out, reflecting the singer's large fan base in the region.
Williams has previously said he feels deeply inspired by the passion and warmth he receives from Latin American audiences whenever he performs there.
European leg wrapped up in Portugal
The Britpop tour has drawn strong reviews and packed venues throughout its run. The European leg closed with a show in Portugal, where Williams performed for a large crowd that sang along to his best-known number-one hits.
Before Portugal, the tour had already taken Williams across Europe, as well as to stadium shows in Oceania and a series of dates in his home country, the United Kingdom.
