Sienna Miller has spoken about the "euphoric" surprise of becoming a mother again in her forties, having previously made peace with having just one child.
In a new interview with Vogue, the 44-year-old actress discussed welcoming a son with her fiance Oli Green in May. The couple also share a daughter born in early 2024.
Miller also has a 14-year-old daughter, Marlowe, with her former partner Tom Sturridge.

"I'd wanted another baby for so long that my postpartum was just bliss," she told the magazine. "I had thought, by the time I was 40, that it wouldn't happen."
She added that she felt "existentially relieved" by the unexpected chance to grow her family.
"That I'd have my one baby and I kind of made peace with it. It was such a surprise, and it was such a bonus that I was just euphoric," she said.

Natural birth success
Miller revealed she successfully planned for a natural delivery for her third child, despite having undergone two Caesarean sections previously. She worked with Dr Gowri Motha, using the Gentle Birth Method, a programme combining Ayurvedic teachings with self-hypnosis and visualisation.
"I really wanted to have a natural labour with my third, which is kind of unheard of, especially after two C-sections. And I did it," she explained.

Her experience this time contrasted with the birth of her first daughter, which involved an emergency C-section. Miller admitted she felt "disappointed" and as though she had "failed" during a difficult postpartum period, noting there was less focus on maternal recovery at the time.
Miller announced her third pregnancy in December, revealing her bump at the Fashion Awards. She confirmed the birth in May with a brief update, saying, "It's happened. I have a tiny baby next door."

Return to work
Despite her positive postpartum experience following the recent birth, Miller expressed regret over returning to her career just five weeks later.
The actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in May to promote her new action film, Jack Ryan: Ghost War.
"It was all too much. I thought I could manage it, but it was just complicated and hard," she told Vogue of the quick turnaround.
During her appearance on the late night talk show, Miller admitted she was surviving on "very little sleep" and detailed a disastrous transatlantic flight to the United States with her toddler and newborn.
"It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging," she told Fallon. "It's crazy to be talking words and wearing a dress. What has happened from pajama gate."
When asked which age group was the most difficult to parent, she said her recent travel experiences had changed her mind.
"I would have said the teenage girl would be harder to juggle until the transatlantic flight I took yesterday with the toddler and the newborn," she said. "The toddler now wins hands down. It was an absolute disaster. There's no negotiating. I got to the immigration line and just broke down."
