Spanish Pop Band De Rancho Announces October Madrid Concert

Spanish pop group De Rancho will perform live at Sala El Sol in Madrid on Friday, October 16, showcasing their album Una Flor Entre Los Ladrillos.

The upcoming show gives fans another opportunity to experience the group's live sound following the release of their single Notre Dame, which debuted last Friday.

De Rancho has built a reputation on a distinctive British pop sound. The band is composed of vocalist Adri, Alex, Darío, and Walker.

Concert details and meet and greet

The concert at Sala El Sol, a historic live music venue in Madrid, will feature tracks from Una Flor Entre Los Ladrillos. The album was released almost a year ago and has driven significant melodic growth for the group.

Concertgoers will hear live renditions of popular tracks such as Tú De Quién Eres, a number one hit featured on the Spanish radio station Cadena 100. The setlist will also include songs such as Nervioso, Espía, and Sitcom.

In addition to their established repertoire, the band will perform Notre Dame live for the first time in Madrid. The track combines nostalgia with pop and blues influences.

To make the evening special, the event will offer a meet and greet session prior to the concert. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to chat directly with the band members and hear behind the scenes stories before they take the stage.

Repertoire and recent releases

The Madrid show comes after a steady stream of releases that have built the band's catalog. Earlier releases include the summer single Qué Sería De Mí, a track designed to express gratitude to long-standing supporters.

The group also released Zombies, a song featuring guitar-driven rock with romantic elements and veiled social criticism.

These tracks reflect the group's evolving identity as they continue to expand their presence in Spanish popular music.

Origin and studio development

De Rancho was formed two years ago when the musicians gathered at a recording studio in the mountain sierra region to develop their project.

Vocalist Adri had been involved in urban music and rap since the age of 13. While his background was in rap, his musical influences spanned a wide spectrum, and he had long harbored a childhood dream of forming a full band.

Adri explained that as he grew older, he felt constrained by the thematic aesthetics and street-level parameters of rap music, despite his interest in poetry and storytelling.

Following a period of personal changes, Adri decided to pursue his vision of creating a band with a more universal musical language.

Rapid assembly and debut

Adri already knew Walker, and the project gained momentum when they received a four-minute WhatsApp audio recording of Darío playing flamenco guitar, which provided the missing element they needed.

They contacted Darío, met for coffee, and invited him to join the venture. The group assembled their lineup in less than a week.

With a concert already scheduled for the following week, the group invented the name De Rancho, adapted Adri's existing songs for a full band setup, and performed their first show.

Adri noted that while the rapid formation appeared casual on the surface, it fulfilled his long-held goal of building a band, leading the members to focus intensively on further developing their sound.
