Stacey Solomon said "we don't take it for granted" as she returned to filming her BBC show Sort Your Life Out, a day after going home empty-handed from the National Television Awards.
The 36-year-old presenter had secured three major nominations across individual and show categories at the ceremony, which was held on Tuesday night in London. She was shortlisted for Best TV Presenter, Best Reality Docuseries for her fly-on-the-wall show with partner Joe Swash, Stacey & Joe, and Best Factual Entertainment for Sort Your Life Out.
She lost out in all three categories, with the awards going to David Attenborough, Clarkson's Farm and Gogglebox respectively.
Taking to her Instagram Stories the following day, Solomon shared a beaming selfie alongside Sort Your Life Out expert Iwan Carrington. She wrote: "Straight back out and with the gang at 5am this morning for Sort Your Life Out filming! We didn't win yesterday, but just wanted to come on here & say THANK YOU so much for supporting us and the team...."
She continued: "We are so lucky to go to the NTAs win or lose and we don't take it for granted. We know we wouldn't have been able to go with YOU. And although we are all a bit tired and silly today we had the best time. LOVE YOU ALL."
Last year's 'ludicrous' category clash
The latest ceremony marks a turnaround in tone from last year, when Solomon criticised the NTAs for placing both of her shows, Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe, in the same Entertainment category.
Speaking on Magic Radio just hours before the 2025 ceremony at The O2, she told presenters Tom Price and Lucy Horobin: "They've put Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe in the same blummin' category for some reason, we're up against each other which is absolutely ludicrous!"
She added that she was still grateful to be nominated, saying it was "so nice to be shortlisted and nominated knowing that it's a public vote," and that it would be the first time her family had attended an event like it.
Asked how Swash would react if Sort Your Life Out won, Solomon laughed and said: "He'll secretly be giving me daggers, but outwardly I'm sure he'll clap!"
Solomon ultimately missed out on a win at that ceremony too.
Bafta disappointment in 2025
The National Television Awards, held annually and voted for by the public, recognise achievement across British television. The O2 in London has hosted the ceremony in recent years, and it draws major stars from reality TV, drama and entertainment programming.
Solomon also suffered a defeat at the Baftas in May 2025, when Sort Your Life Out lost out to Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder's programme Grand Tour. She later said she felt "gutted" and that her team "deserved" to win.
Following that Bafta loss, an emotional Solomon told her Instagram followers: "I'm not handling it very well, I'm not taking it very gracefully, I'm devastated! I'm devastated for our whole team, like I'm so gutted for our team."
She continued: "Everyone got dressed up and was really hopeful, I think because they work so hard. It's not an easy show to make, Sort Your Life Out and the team work so hard to make it happen and they so deserve the Bafta."
She added: "The Sort Your Life Out team deserved a Bafta and I'm devastated. I'm not saying that everyone else didn't deserve their Baftas, they absolutely did. People think making TV is really easy and it's not, so everyone deserves recognition. But I'm just gutted for my whole Sort Your Life Out family because I feel like they deserved a Bafta. I'm gonna say it, I'm gutted!"
That post-awards reaction did not sit well with some of her fan base at the time, with some followers accusing her of having "sour grapes."
This time, Solomon insisted she "felt like we won" regardless, having spent the ceremony surrounded by her family and the crews of her TV shows before heading straight back to filming the next morning.
