Legal thriller The Lincoln Lawyer has built a major audience on Netflix, where four seasons of the courtroom drama are currently streaming.
Created and produced for Netflix by television writer David E. Kelley, the American courtroom drama is based on the 2008 novel The Brass Verdict by crime writer Michael Connelly. The book serves as a direct sequel to Connelly's novel of the same name.

Courtroom Drama and Los Angeles Murders
The series follows Mickey Haller, an idealistic Los Angeles lawyer who resumes his legal career after a long absence caused by an accident. Haller restarts his practice by accepting an intricate murder case in the film capital.
Operating his practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, Haller manages both major trials and minor cases across the city. Gossipify writer David Freire described the show as an addictive judicial thriller built around criminal cases, conspiracies, and secret-filled characters facing murder investigations and complex legal battles.
Mexican actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo leads the cast as Mickey Haller. He stars alongside Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco, Yaya DaCosta as Andrea 'Andy' Freemann, and Christopher Gorham as Trevor Elliott.

The recurring cast features actress Cobie Smulders in the role of Artemisia 'Emi' Finch. Smulders is set to star in a planned spin-off series derived from the main show.
Since its debut in May 2022, the courtroom drama has earned positive reviews from television audiences. The series holds an 84 percent favorable rating on Rotten Tomatoes, alongside a score of 6.7 out of 10 on Metacritic, an identical 6.7 out of 10 on FilmAffinity, and a 7.8 out of 10 rating on IMDB.
